- Strong in chemistry, computer science, electrical engineering, biotechnology, stem cells, space, nanotechnology, and energy.
- The Technion-Guangdong Institute of Technology (Technion-Guangdong) – a scientific-research institute of technology founded on the ‘Technion model’. First in-take in 2017. US$130 million donation from Li Ka Shing.
- Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute in New York City – Joined campus with Cornell University with emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship. First in-take also in 2017.
- Undergraduate candidates must have taken subjects of mathematics and physics in the last two years of high school. The school marks should demonstrate the candidate is among the top 10% in the same level of students graduating.
- If admitted, foreign students will take one semester of preparatory course in physics and maths, also in Hebrew language.
- So far, only two courses in undergraduate degrees and very limited number of postgraduate classes are available in English. There are plans to increase courses taught in English.
